Goodison Park deserves its reputation as a bear pit where opponents fear to tread. The Gwladys Street End can make the hairs on your neck stand up when it's in full voice. But there's a sense Everton have lost their way a little recently. The School of Science style seems forgotten. But there's too much history and pride at this club for the Toffees to stay down for long. With the fans' backing, Everton will take flight again soon.

The Grand Old Lady of Goodison Park has witnessed many eras, from the Dixie Dean glory days of sharpshooters smashing scoring records, to the School of Science teams under Kendall playing sparkling pass-and-move football. In Everton's DNA lies flair, guile and attacking bravado. 

But lately, the Toffees have often played with the shackles on, stifling their creativity. Everton teams of old passed opponents into dizzy submission with pace and precision. Now slow, sideways passing kills promising attacks. Where is the drive and dynamism fans long for?

Of course, Everton's success was forged through the unbreakable bond between fervent fans spurring on their heroes. When the Gwladys Street crowd finds its voice, hairs stand up on necks and spines tingle. The old ground shakes with impassioned clamor. But such electric occasions feel sadly all too rare now. 

Some blame years without silverware, or the board's ambition not matching the fans'. But make no mistake, this sleeping giant of a club will soon awaken. Because Everton is forever - through all the ups and downs, the supporters remain. Their voices must be Goodison's metronome once more, setting the tempo to regain success.  
Despite recent struggles, Everton odds quickly fall when playing at Goodison where the crowd lifts them, leading to such excitement and frenzied Everton betting for those crunch home games. With belief and passion still coursing through Blue blood, Everton's pride shall rise again. Channel the spirit of greats who made history on this hallowed turf, and let it drive new heroes on to recapture former glories. Everton's light has not gone out - flickering maybe, but ready to shine brightly once more. The School of Science will teach new lessons, and Goodison will shake with joy when the Toffees take flight on the wings of rejuvenated ambition. Stay strong.
